Owned and operated by the same family since 1926, Holland Bowl Mill is one of the last production bowl mills in America. They create solid hardwood bowls and utensils of the highest quality in much the same way they were produced more than a century-and-a-half ago. Each piece is lovingly carved, sanded, and finished by hand by skilled artisans. You'll want to check out these beautiful, quality creations for yourself.
Mount Pisgah is a large sand dune near Lake Macatawa and Holland State Park. Climb 239 steps to the top for a stunning view of Lake Michigan, Lake Macatawa and the Big Red Lighthouse.
Nestled near Holland State Park, the Pumphouse Museum offers a charming glimpse into the area’s lakeshore history. Housed in a former 1901 power plant that once supplied electricity to the Hotel Ottawa, the building itself reflects a time of early innovation. Inside, exhibits highlight the story of the iconic Big Red lighthouse and the once-thriving Ottawa Beach community. With its scenic setting along Lake Michigan, the museum feels like a peaceful window into Holland’s past.
